Here are some notes on how to migrate your @cam.ac.uk email away from Exchange Online.
Update 2020: These instructions may now be out of date, following changes to DS-Print. You may find the following command line incantation inspirational and useful, however.
cat a.pdf | ssh sqpr2@linux.ds.cam.ac.uk lp -d ZXC_FindMe
The University does not (at least it didn’t at my last checking) support the use of Linux with DS-Print. It is however, not only possible, but fairly simple to set up.
Since I imagine that I’m not the only person that wants to do this, I have written a short guide that should guide most people through the process. As explained in the guide, I’ve tried to make the instructions as general as possible, however you may find the steps within require modification/expansion to suit your system.
